[Shelldon]
[Legend of The Master]
Shelldon--a television series
[26 X 22 min.] and a feature film
[90 min.] based on original concepts
and characters created by Shellhut
Entertainment. We decided we wanted
to do something out of the ordinary
to
encourage an interest in sea life and protecting the marine environment. We conducted an exhaustive survey of sea-related animation and came up with plenty of famous fish but no convincing depiction of the colorful yet mysterious world of sea shells. It took years of investment in research and development before we were satisfied that what we had was different and special enough to build into a world of seashell animation and cartoons.
Shelldon follows the creative vision of the executive producer and director Dr. Jirayuth Chusanachoti and production advisors from Thailand, UK, and the US, working with the preproduction and CG production team at the Singapore-based Tiny Island Productions. Headed by David Kwok, an animation veteran in the Singapore animation industry, Tiny Island worked on the TV series' story development, character redesigning, scripting and CG production. The blend of colorful sets and characters with witty scripting and great character animation is aimed at children aged 8 years and below. The theme song for the series features international broadway star Lea Salonga, with voice acting and music services provided by Global Content Center in Manila, Philippines, and another broadway singer Dean Chisnall..
The feature film version of Shelldon has been developed with top Hollywood and London comedy writers. Pilot animations for both the TV and feature projects are available for industry professionals interested in distribution or co-financing opportunities.
The shell stories revolve around the adventures that the lead character (Shelldon) and his friends go through, in their quest to make the world a better and greener place. It is set in a small reef community called Shell Land, a friendly town that welcomes passing travelers like fish, seashells and crabs, who live on the beach or in the sea. With quirky humor and endearing, unique characters in all shapes and sizes, this animation also deals with universal issues for a young, international audience, such as growing up, getting along with family and neighbors and living in an ever-changing world.

Legend of The Master--is a second feature film [90 min.] in advanced development, based on original concepts and characters created by Shellhut Entertainment. Executive producer and director Dr. Jirayuth Chusanachoti worked with the preproduction and CG production team at Singapore-based Tiny Island Productions to create a story of adventure built around the ancient eastern secrets of Feng Shui. Its combination of colorful sets and characters with creative scripting and top class animation makes for unique 'edutainment', aimed at teenagers and adults.
This action/adventure CG animation traces the journey of a legendary Feng Shui Master in the discovery of his destiny as the Chosen One. Along the way, he must unlock an ancient Feng Shui secret to defeat the forces of evil.
Materials for the feature projects are available for industry professionals interested in distribution or co-financing opportunities.
