Shellhut Entertainment Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 to finance, develop and deliver a new generation of world-class animation. We are a subsidiary of Shellhut Co Ltd., a leading shell-craft manufacturer and exporter. Both companies are headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand and both share a passion for successful, ethical business and protecting the environment.
To further these aims in the entertainment industry, we brought together and funded a team of leading writers, artists, designers and animators from America, UK and across Asia, capable of bringing our first two projects to life as both TV and feature-length animations.
Our first project, like our parent company, is built on our love for beaches, the sea and the weird and wonderful creatures that live there. You can read more about our SHELLDON pilot TV series and feature film here.
Our second project LEGEND OF THE MASTER, is an animated feature film currently in advanced development, about an Eastern hero who uses the ancient secrets of Feng Shui to battle the forces of darkness. You can read more here.
Our strengths include the ability to finance projects, to invest in much more creative and rigorous development than many of our competitors and to bring an international, strategic outlook to every project. We also would like to work with interested co-financiers, executives and distributors to further expand our network.
